My desire is to see artists raised up into the God-fearing men they were appointed to be. My hunger is to see a generation of youth committing themselves to the only treasure that truly matters in life. Recognizing how much of an influence artists can make, for good or evil, on that generation of youth.

“You shall walk after the LORD your God and fear Him, and keep His commandments and obey His voice; you shall serve Him and hold fast to Him.” (Deuteronomy 13:4)

I felt a very clear prompting from the Lord that He had more in store for my life than what I was experiencing in the Christian music world. It was becoming clear that I wanted to be in full-time ministry – I wanted my life to mirror that of Jesus, and yet still had a passion for music, so after praying and contemplating (even arguing with the Lord), I surrendered my will to His. He took over, and has held my hand on this path of trusting Him for everything, be it the food on my families table, or the artists we are meant to work with. “A man’s heart plans his way, But the LORD directs his steps.” (Proverbs 16:9)

I would love to see more musicianaries preaching the good news of the Gospel to the poor in areas and countries still unreached places. I would love to see more broken-hearted believers and non-believers healed. Those prisoners who are currently bound, set free. The eyes of the blind opened, the oppressed being released. The acceptable year of the Lord being proclaimed. “ The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed; to proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD.” – Jesus quoting the prophet Isaiah in Luke 4:18&19

Life Verses

“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.”

- Hebrews 12: 1-3

Favorite Artists

I’m honestly in love with any band that is striving to worship Jesus through their gift of art. I want to grow daily in my walk with Jesus, so I want to daily fill my heart and head full of the mysteries of Christ through worship. I do occasionally listen to (and enjoy) secular acts and yet find that I’m consistently let down by bands who may sound incredible and yet do not express the most incredible sound ever, Immanuel – God with us. “Come, let us sing for joy to the LORD; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song. For the LORD is the great God, the great King above all gods.” (Psalm 95: 1-3)

Favorite Authors/Speakers

1. God – The Bible

2. Apostle Paul – Most of the NT

3. John Piper – Don’t Waste Your Life (and many others)

4. Shane Claiborne – The Irresistible Revolution

5. Mark Driscoll

6. Any of the great men of faith who have fought to seek God’s Kingdom established on earth of which they’re are too many to list. Some of my favorite testimonies include those of D.L. Moody, Charles Spurgeon, Smith Wigglesworth, Brother Yun, George Matheson, Martin Luther, Billy Graham, John Wesley, Reinhard Bonnke, C.T. Studd, George Muller, and many many others that I am constantly discovering. Beyond any human example, Jesus is without a doubt, the hero above all others. “Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.” (Philipians 2: 5-7)

How Chad Came to Christ

It was the night of January 10th, 1992, I was eighteen. I was entirely fed up with the shallow life I had been living. I had turned my back on God, was indulging in a life of sin and knew I was in need of change. I was on my knees crying out for help when, as many have attested to, a peace almost instantly began to take charge over my troubled heart. It wasn’t but a day later that I began to regret this newfound submission as the Lord quickly began to root out of me the old and replace it with the new.
The process was trying but God was gracious to bring me through. Best decision of my life without a single doubt. What I didn’t realize at the time was that this would also be the most dangerous decision of my life. “Yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom are all things and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things and through whom we live.” – 1 Corinthians 8:6
