For many Christian artists, the Gospel has gone out of style. In some cases, it's even seen as a negative thing. It may never be said that explicitly, but the Gospel is seen as “too intense” or “fundamental” or “old-school,” somehow less sophisticated, and not appropriate for our modern times.

Kill Your Dreams

We live in a narcissistic age. An age of extreme selfishness. Because of this, God is often presented as someone who exists to meet our needs. We are told, that Jesus came to satisfy my desires.

The Greatest Gain

Current culture prizes earthly success far above the Christian’s call to appreciate life abundant in the now, much less treasure eternal later. One Million Drunken Polish Youth

Unhappy, Unloved and Out of Control

Unhappy, unloved and out of control read the front cover of the Time Magazine that year in the UK. It certainly seemed a good description for a lot of the young people we had come in contact with through our efforts to reach young people in the southern borough of London that we lived in.

'Good' and 'Hard' always go together

We have a family motto, “good and hard always go together”. I heard this all the time growing up. Maybe this doesn’t seem like such a revolutionary thought, but this simple concept has had an enormous impact on my life.
